Our mission is to bring you all the thrills of kayaking in Newfoundland at an unbeatable price. Kayaks can be rented from us for up to 2 hours starting at as little as $35. Save more, by booking 2 or more Kayaks at a time!
All you need to do is book your kayaks, show up and paddle! No car to carry your kayak? No problem! Although, we do offer pick up and take away options, our location allows us to service you, regardless of your transportation.

Paradise Paddles is much more than just a Kayak Rental business; we are a growing family! Before we start to tell you how Paradise Paddles came to be, we wish to tell you a little about who we are.
We are Dominic and Karinna, husband and wife. With us, at the time of typing this out, we have two dogs: Anney and Guapo. As well, we are expecting not one, but two baby girls, whos names we will keep a secret for now. So earlier, when we mentioned a growing family, we meant it!
Adventure and exploration has always been the heart-beat of our marriage! We love to get out doors, travel and try new things together. That’s what brought us to our new home in Newfoundland! Newfoundland is such a mystical, rugged, unique and just… WOW place. We feel so honored and grateful to make it our home. We are so glad we can now share it with others.
We bought our home, located right on a beautiful pond, and thought how nice it would be to be able to enjoy it on the water during the summer. What we also noticed, was not too many people were taking advantage of such a beautiful area! We decided to make the most of it, by buying two kayaks for ourselves, to enjoy on the pond. Well, it was not long after that, we discovered that two little girls will be joining us! This did mean we had to take a bit of a break on the kayaks for ourselves.
So now we had these kayaks, and a different set of priorities. Because we still wanted to share our love of kayaking and the beauty of our backyard, we decided to list our Kayaks on Facebook Marketplace and see if someone else would like to enjoy them and the nature we are blessed to call home. We wanted to offer our kayak rentals at a very affordable rate, so that it was accessible for everyone who wanted to try kayaking! That was June 20, 2024, our first post. (P.S. we still use marketplace!)
Turns out, many people wanted to try kayaking with us! We quickly added to our fleet of kayaks to rent and made our process more and more simple for everyone to enjoy. The best part is, nearly all of our lovely customers, have never kayaked before! We are so happy that we are able to share such a great hobby with locals and tourists alike! Additionally, we are constantly looking at ways we can make your experience better, and provide more services so that everyone can enjoy the outdoors of Newfoundland!
